Battleships where mainly for bombardments for ground troops, and if it came to a sea battle, to attack the enemy's Aircraft Carrier or other Battleships due to their heavy guns, slower speeds, and harder maneuverability. I would like to see the Wargaming Team take this and see about making some changes, but I will not hold my breath. Not to forget air defense for the fleet as well. The Destroyers main objectives are to locate and sink enemy submarines, support the fleet as a spotter, and hunt down the enemy's Carriers. I could argue the same for Battleship players from torpedo hits shot by Destroyers or Cruisers. Some players will complain about this saying that it is unfair to the Destroyer players. I do understand if a Destroyer pops their smoke screen to hide their ship and fight, I consider that fair, since the Destroyer do have low heath and can be destroyed by one volley by a Battleship. Destroyers especially, they should not be able to sneak up close to any Battleship nor should their torpedoes go half way across the map. NAVY Signalmen, all ships, especially the Battleship, should be able to spot any ship up to a certain distance in game. Why Destroyers vs Battleships should change.
